MISSION 22
Advocating for veterans, whether on the podcast supporting and advertising their business ventures and creative works, or through critical programs like Mission 22, Jeff gives back as much as he can. One of those programs is the annual October 50 Mile Ruck March Challenge to raise money for Mission 22’s programs. Jeff is currently an approved Mission 22 Ambassador, so find him at a local event in Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas!
Mission 22 provides extensive, personalized support and resources to help Veterans and their families thrive. Mission 22’s programs for Veterans and military spouses offer everything from biometric monitoring of stress, sleep, and activity levels; to meditation and coaching; to exercise programs and a wellness supplement regimen; to books and learning resources to help Veterans put their experience in context.

TOTAL ARCHERY CHALLENGE
While not a nonprofit, the archery community has embraced veterans amongst their ranks, and many (including myself) have found archery to be very helpful when it comes to battling PTSD, Anxiety, and other post-service challenges.
Total Archery Challenge is an incredible event that the folks at TAC conduct in numerous states around the country. Each event is several days and includes multiple challenging courses to shoot on, after parties, fundraisers for good causes like Warrior Rising (Warriorrising.org), and a vendor village that might drain your wallet!
I found the TAC events more than just an archery shoot. It was a time to get together over archery, talk shop, network, and just flat-out hang with members of the hunting industry. This is a great event even if you don’t hunt but love to shoot. In vendor village alone I got to talk with industry insiders from SIG Sauer, Black Rifle Coffee, Hoyt Archery, Elite Archery, Montan Knife Company, NOCK On Archery, LaCrosse Footwear, and more. Get out to a TAC event and make sure to come find me!
